Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong delayed to 2022

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong delayed to 2022

Things are not looking too bloody fresh for the Vampire: The Masquerade franchise. The game was initially scheduled to release in 2021, but it seems there is some big trouble brewing. The revival of the classic vamp franchise has been having some trouble crawling out of the grave. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong has now been hit with a delay.

To take the sting out of the news, the developers have released a new trailer for the game. Big Bad Wolf Studio revealed a new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong during Nacon Connect 2021. The trailer shows off a bit more of the story—and some more details of the setting, with some very interesting elements shown off.

Galeb, one of the three main playable character for the game, has finally been revealed. Galeb is a member of the powerful and menacing Clan Ventrue, the most powerful group in the underworld of the Masquerade. The vamps and other mystical creatures have their own unique abilities, much like the Clans of the main game. Galeb is rather resistant to damage, able to stand amongst a carnage of corpses, all while shrugging off tons of bullets.

Along with the new character debut, some gameplay elements were teased as well. Players will have the option to work their way through the game’s story with either combat or social options. Maybe if your abilities as another vampire will be more focused on talking your way out of trouble. See more in the new trailer. Check out the trailer for the standalone spin-off down below.
