Upcoming Steam Sale Dates Have Been Leaked

Steam Game Discounts

This is pretty much a yearly thing now, the leaking of the dates I mean. Given how popular the Steam Winter Sale is in particular, pretty much any PC gamer over a certain age waits for those days to snap up a bunch of new games. The discounts alone usually mean that it’s the perfect time to snap up the most-anticipated AAA releases as well as a trove of indies. Some years PayPal accidentally leaks the days these discounts begin, other years some well-known leaker drops the info, either way people are excited. This year though, SteamDB dropped the knowledge after multiple insiders posted the information online.

But enough waffling, here’s what you’re really here for, the dates themselves. Valve has three seasonal sales planned for the end of 2019, with each one taking on its own theme. As usual, we can likely expect the Autumn sale to be a smaller affair, possibly a stop-gap for publishers and developer to offer teaser discounts ahead of the much more anticipated and massive Winter Sale. As was the case last year, we saw a Halloween Sale that focused on horror games and similar themes, I see no reason why the 2019 version will make too much of a departure from that.

Up first is the Halloween Sale, from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. The Autumn Sale will swiftly follow this from Nov. 26 until Dec. 3. Then, to wrap up the year, the Winter Sale, from Dec. 19 to Jan. 2, 2020.

So take the time now to look through the Steam store and find some games you might want to pick up and wishlist them so you can price check them for discounts quickly. My advice would be to focus on the games you’re less inclined to pay full price for, but still want to play. It’s a great to both save some cash and potentially be introduced to a new genre or franchise. When the sales hit, ISKMogul will be sure to keep you informed of all the changes and discounts. And we will for sure be compiling a list of the must-have games in each extravaganza. So you will definitely want to keep an eye on the site over the coming weeks.
