Unova Champion Throwback Challenge 2020 dates for Pokémon Go
Continuing with the trend from the previous Throwback Challenges, there’s another crop of research tasks to take on. Starting in May 2020, Pokémon Go fans get some new fun to have. These Throwback Challenges have been going on for a while now, covering a variety of the different regions throughout the mainline games. The previous regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and then Sinnoh have all been covered in the event string so far.
Now, we’re getting into the newest stack of 2020 Throwback Challenges. this new batch of Challenges wraps up, and each week players will vie for a spot in the Champion Throwback Challenge. After the Sinnoh Throwback Challenge wraps up, trainers will have to wait a week for the Champion Throwback Challenge to be available. The next phase begins on June 3 and runs for a week.
The best way to get access to the Unova Champion Throwback Challenge 2020 is to complete the previous events. The Champion challenges can also be bought into for $7.99.
This will tie into the next batch of Research Tasks that unlock encounters in the Unova Pokédex. Research tasks that lead to encounters with Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region, such as Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Blitzle, Audino, Darumaka, Gothita, and Genesect.
