Tropico 6 releases onto Xbox Game Preview today

Tropico 6

Kalypso Media has finally revealed that the Xbox One port of Tropico 6 is finally out. Although it’s not the full game, so don’t get too excited. The game is a part of the Xbox Game Preview system, which is basically early access on Xbox One. It’s so far a fairly barebones version of the game. The Xbox Game Preview version of Tropico 6 will include the full singleplayer campaign, but don’t expect multiplayer features just yet. Those aspects will be patched into the console version of the title at a later date.

The console versions, of Tropico 6, both PS4 and Xbox One, look to have been delayed. We already knew the game got delayed a while back due to problems with polish overall. Last year said console versions were also hit with delays. The ports were originally scheduled to come out this Summer in 2019, that’s obviously not going to happen.  Tropico 6 has been out on PC since March, and it looks like the PS4 and Xbox One versions won’t be out until Autumn 2019.
