The latest Total War Saga – Thrones of Britannia trailer has dropped this afternoon and this one we meet Guthfrid, King of Viking Northymbre. Guthfrid was once a slave but now his prosperous kingdom is attracting invaders.
The newest game is the first installment in Creative Assembly’s new Total War Saga franchise, which will feature spin-offs that span a couple hundred years and focus on key flash points, rather than longer periods the series is known for. Despite the shorter time periods, the games will retain familiar gameplay mechanics like Faction Politics, War Fervour, and Diplomacy.
This next Total War release will be available on 19 April and there’s a 10% discount on Steam prior to release.
