A new DLC pack is headed for Total War: Rome 2. The upcoming Desert Kings culture pack introduces four new playable factions with new rosters, building chains, and new tech trees. The new factions include The Kingdoms of Kush, Saba and Nabatea of the African/Arabian subculture, and the Masaesyli of Numidia.
This new content releases on March 8 and brings a variety of changes to the game outside of new factions and such. There will now be new female faction leaders and important characters in Total War: Rome 2. Expect to see iconic historical figures like Cleopatra in the game as of March 8. All factions will receive new female characters though, so don’t feel left out if you play a minor faction.
A blog post has gone live which includes the patch notes ahead of the new content release which is scheduled for 8 March. There’s a 10% discount available on the DLC right up until launch.
