So it looks like fans of the hack-and-slash series Darksiders are in for some good news at E3. According to a listing spotted on the E3 schedule website, there’s a panel on the docket the plans to discuss the past, present and future of the franchise. And during said panel, there’s going to be talk of a new game. Here’s the description of the panel:
DARKSIDERS: ACTION ADVENTURE EVOLVED
A discussion about the inception of the Darksiders universe and where it’s headed next. This panel will coincide with the E3 2019 unveil of a brand new Darksiders game that takes the franchise in a fresh direction. This is a panel discussion about the art and business of creating and maintaining an action adventure franchise rich in-game and corporate lore.
THQ Nordic has yet to confirm this supposed new game yet, but it’s pretty much confirmed in all but name at this point. The official E3 schedule details the three day schedule of the main event is packed with new games, both announced and not, so it seems like the perfect place to announced a new game for THQ Nordic. We could also see some new information from developer Gunfire Games, who worked on Darksiders III.
