The Witcher crossover with Monster Hunter World coming next month

Netflix's The Witcher has cast Ciri and Yennefer

During the announcement for the upcoming Iceborne expansion, Capcom also revealed various other details about new content coming to Monster Hunter World. Aside from the new Assassin’s Creed crossover quest and items, other game franchises are getting in on the fun in Astera. During the course of this new event, The Witcher hero Geralt of Rivia will join the hunters of the Commission on their tasks.

The crossover will involve a unique quest complete with all new voiceover work and other content unique to the quests within said event. And yes, the original voice actor for Geralt will lend his talents to these lines to add authenticity. Capcom continues to work closely with CD Projekt Red with this event, giving a distinct air of quality to the whole affair.

Monster Hunter World launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January last year, and became Capcom’s fastest-selling video game of all time. The crossover event is due out via a free update for PS4 and Xbox One versions of MHW. The event will begin on February 8th. And yes PC players, you’ll get this content too at a later date, although no launch date has been announced.
