The team behind Blair Witch and Layers of Fear has released more details of The Medium. Their new horror game finally has a release date. A simple new trailer also debuts a teaser of some of the music that will be in the final game.
The Medium also features music from famed Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka working with Bloober’s own composer Arkadiusz Reikowski to bring the world to life. The story will be set on fire, mentally speaking, with the inclusion of this incredible music. The new music has a very ominous feel to it, it’s pretty spooky. Fans of Bloober Team’s games are in for a treat.
Said story centers around The Maw, a terrifying and massive otherworldly foe. The Maw is attempting to consume the traumatized life of the hero. The game was initially announced for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U back in 2012 before it pivoted to what it is now. The story surrounding Marianne, the main character, will be an intriguing journey into the minds of rage and trauma.
The Medium is set to launch for Xbox Series S/X and PC on December 10. Check out the newest trailer down below.
