The full soundtrack list for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series is known for one thing other than excellent skating, incredibly fun music. The growth of punk genres and skateboarding in the late 90s is owed in no small part to these games. And with the impending release of the remaster for the first two games, there’s about to be a big boost happening.

The soundtrack list for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has been released and it features both established names and upcoming acts, offering plenty of diversity.

By including both songs from the original two games, as well as a bunch of entirely new songs, the developers have made a good attempt at bridging the tastes gap. If you grew up with the original games and loved the music, you probably have a somewhat different musical taste compared to new fans hopping for the remaster. There is a very interesting mix of different genres here. There’s plenty of pop and punk, and some industrial sub-genres too. The more modern stuff has plenty of crunch and punk influences as well to appeal to the skater tone that the game is going for.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will offer both punk classics, and some contemporary vibes, to help immerse the player. The feeling of zipping around courses while jamming out to great music is a big part of what many enjoyed about the original games. So it’s a great thing that the remaster has made a serious attempt to recapture that.

The remaster pack is developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision, set to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 4, 2020.
