According to an update from Ubisoft, all of that will now arrive in February 2022. “This additional time will allow our passionate development team to deliver the best quality for this new content,” says the post. The launch of season 6 occurred back in June, and the game has been pretty quiet since then. Gamers and fans have been waiting for more news. Now, we have that news.

“We remain confident that this content will bring an exciting experience to our players and pave the way for the future of The Division 2 with future title updates coming in 2022,” Ubisoft said. “That being said, and to make sure we deliver this content on par with our vision, we have made the decision to move our new season, game mode and associated content release to February 2022.”

The update did include a few plans for the first full reveals of the new content. The first update will include a pretty comprehensive revamp of gameplay. The revamp planned by the developers will focus on getting more players back into the game. An entirely new game mode and significant endgame changes will be a big part of this.

According to Ubisoft, “the first episode will be released as soon as this Thursday and will feature an introduction from Trick Dempsey, Expert Game Designer, about one of the key changes from the next update: the Specialization Revamp.”

And there’s more coming after The Division 2 Season 7 as well. The update on the blog shared that Ubisoft is planning more at the end of 2021. “At the end of Season 7 in December, we will be organizing an in-game event, reintroducing some player-favourite global events, associated with new rewards and an apparel event,” said the update.
