Tharsis Preview at PAX 2015

Tharsis is an upcoming hybrid of rogue-like and strategy tabltop games that delves into what the dire possibilities are for a future manned mission to Mars. Tharsis stands out as one of the more interesting games at PAX, and needless to say it’s an intriguing title.

The player takes control of a small crew that are in charge of maintaining the mission itself against whatever hassles may befall them. The player will direct the crew to complete tasks such as repairs, research, and construction. All of which serve the direct purpose of keeping said crew safe, sane and fed.

The effort spent on these various tasks that result in successes will grant the player bonuses and helpful hints on future tasks.
