Tekken 7 Season Two is about to begin

Tekken 7 Season Pass 2 Trailer

Bandai Namco are prepping for the release of the second Season Pass for Tekken 7, and it’s an extremely important one in terms of both new content and balance changes to the iconic fighting game series’ latest incarnation. Tekken 7 Season Two kicks off on September 6 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The pack will be available as a package deal for $24.99 in all.

Of course, there’s a handful of new characters, so far we’ve seen the following: Anna Williams, Lei Wulong, and Negan from The Walking Dead.

There’s also the Wall Bound system that puts even more importance on the science of positioning in a match. The Wall Bound system makes wall bounce combos much more effective, and there will likely be a commiserate shift in the meta as a result. There’s also some revamped combo mechanics coming in Season 2 as well. But that’s not all, because a bunch of characters are getting rebalanced.

The balance changes are very extensive and cover multiple characters. Recovery frames, start-up and a whole bunch of other frame data is being adjusted for many characters across the board. Check out the patch notes for all the details.
