Ken from the Street Fighter series is one of the many Echo Fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The upcoming fighting game, features a total of 74 different fighters, and more than 100 stages. There’s lots of options for players to choose from, and even the Echo Fighters, which are essentially reskinned versions of other characters,
The Echo Fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate consist of Dark Samus, Dark Pit, Lucina, Daisy, Chrom, Richter Belmont, and now Ken. And with a new announcement from the team behind the game, we get to see more of the Street Fighter legend in action. The official Super Smash Bros. Japanese Twitter account released a short video showing off some of his moves.
And lucky for fans that wanted him in Smash, the Ken featured in the game contains some iconic moves that fans will instantly recognize. His versions of a Heavy Shoryuken, a Hadoken, a Tatsumaki Senpukyaku and other moves are all included in the game. Each move has different visual effects or is modified graphically to make it visually distinct from those of Ryu, who Ken is the Echo Fighter for. Ken also possesses unique Throws and Counters that are useful in different situations, say for launching opponents or pushing them to one side of the stage.

In other Smash Bros. news, Nintendo also revealed that Incineroar is a new addition to the roster. The recent Nintendo Direct also announced a new Spirit Battles singleplayer mode. Nintendo also plans to release new batches of Amiibos inspired by Smash characters.
