Street Fighter and Fortnite are getting a crossover

Street Fighter V Netcode Fix

Street Fighter and Fortnite are getting ready for a battle-filled crossover.  Epic’s smash-hit battle royale game has become known for such landish crossovers at this point that pretty much nothing is off-limits.  The T-800 from Terminator has been a thing, as has Master Chief from Microsoft’s Halo series. And now, a new leak has pointed to some fighting game content heading to the battle royale.

A new leak has been shared by ShiinaBR, who is known for many accurate leaks and news. The leak found some portal screens which are clearly drawn after classic Street Fighter stages. This would strongly imply that Capcom fighters are in fact coming in some capacity. There’s no way to know for sure what the new content will actually look like.

The focus on the Zero Point event this season has allowed for a bunch of very strange characters to come in as bounty hunters. The game has gotten pretty strange, so seeing Capcom coming to the mix is just nuts.

Along with this event, we’re likely to see some new items in the Fortnite Item Shop. No details yet on what they could be, but some suspicious fans suspect to see skins after various iconic fighters like Ryu and Chun Li.
