Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order update adds new challenge content, outfits, and more

How to get Cal’s Inquisitor Outfit in Jedi: Fallen Order

It’s Star Wars Day, so that means there is a lot of gaming updates and content centered around a certain galaxy far, far away. Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order joins the likes of Fortnite in pushing out themed content around one of the most popular sci-fi franchises ever. With a new free patch, players will get access to a bunch of new content in the game. The big core of the update is a new custom challenges mode that will allow players to make their own custom scenarios. There’s more to it as well, like new cosmetics.

Various in-game arenas and other assets are pulled from across the setting to fill out the new update with content the player can then use to make new levels to goof around in. All the bells and whistles are there to extend the life of the game, making this a pretty cool update. There’s also a New Journey+ mode which will be used as a new game plus mode that can unlock all of the new content, including Cal’s Inquisitor Outfit.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order places the player in the role of Cal, a lost Jedi on the run several years after the events of The Revenge of the Sith. Cal must fight his way through the Imperial Inquisition to uncover the truth about his past, while also discovering a lot about the way this galaxy really works. Developer Respawn Entertainment did a really good job both capturing the feeling of Cal’s story and the dark tone of this part of the franchise.

Along the way you undertake a grand adventure that takes Cal though some very dark undercurrents of the Star Wars story, and deals with trauma and loss in a unique way for these games. There are a lot of dark themes in the deeper lore of the franchise, and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is great at exploring them. It also manages to make Darth Vader even more imposing.
