A new set of skins is head to Star Wars Battlefront II alongside a game update next week.
Each skin is expected to cost 20,000 Credits. Alternatively, DICE will be offering a bundle containing all three appearances for 40,000 Credits.
As far as actual content, the main focus is on a new batch of Clone Trooper cosmetics that players can use to deck out their characters. Specifically the 41st Elite Corps and 327th Star Corps will be added with this update. These are the troopers we see in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith fighting alongside, and eventually betraying, Yoda on Kashyyyk. They are exclusive to those players fighting for the Galactic Republic, in variants for the Assault, Heavy, and Specialist classes.
Check out the full patch notes over here, because it’s more than just new custom cosmetics, there’s also a whole hoversled of bug fixes and balance changes in this patch as well. There’s even some QoL stuff in there too.
For example, players will now have the option to toggle a preference for Clone Wars maps during matchmaking. The Ewok Hunt mode has also been made a permanent addition to the rotation as well.
Finally, DICE also revealed the pricing for four heroes announced back at EA Play in June. Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku will cost 35,000 credits when they join the game.
Star Wars Battlefront II was released in November last year for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The latest patch will drop on August 29th for all platforms.
