Star Trek Bridge Crew The Next Generation releases new trailer

Star Trek Bridge Crew DLC Released

Star Trek Bridge Crew The Next Generation is out now on PSVR. The new DLC is coming to VR platforms on PC, but not until July.

Developed by Ubisoft’s Red Storm Entertainment, the Star Trek: Bridge Crew – The Next Generation expansion allows players to further explore the Star Trek universe onboard the Galaxy Class starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The VR setup is what really makes the experience worth it. Bridge Crew immerses the players into the Star Trek universe, and tests their skills in a variety of challenges, including navigation, scanning and combat. This newest piece of DLC pits players against some new challenges and enemies. Your crew will need to have their wits about them if they’re to take on the Romulans or the Borg.

So suit up, create your avatar and pick a ship role. You can take on Operations, Tactical, Helm and Captain. By the way, Operations is the reworked version of Engineering for this DLC. You have to manage both the typical Engineering jobs and coordinate NPC crew and repairs across the ship. So you’re basically Data, and yes you can create android avatars.

The expansion will also come to PC on July 21st for VR players with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality support, and will also feature non-VR playability. For now, just enjoy the trailer below.
