CIG has just launched the latest version of Star Citizen following a stint of closed testing, as well as a short run on the PTU.
This Alpha 2.2 update brings some new content to the alpha including a flyable Aegis Sabre and not so flyable Xi’an Khartu-Al, but it’s in the hangar at least.
The space around Crusader has been “updated” and each instance can support up to 24 players instead of 16 . There’s still work to be done there but at least it’s getting bigger. The Party System has been revamped, there’s a new ship component class system, first person improvements and more can also be found.
The patch notes are lengthy and are worth a read through before jumping back in to play.
