Kingdom Hearts III Winnie The Pooh Trailer

X019 is not wasting any time this year in firing out announcements. There have been so many new games being announced and rumored around this event that it is hard to keep up. Of all the indies, from Rare’s new Everwild and many more, a lot of people were waiting for news about the big industry names. One name that people didn’t really expect to hear from was Square Enix. That particular company is most well-known for their partnerships with Sony in releasing various JRPGs like Kingdom Hearts 3.

But now, Microsoft is trying its best to garner a new wave of fans by negotiating a deal to get multiple Square Enix properties onto their console. Kingdom Hearts III is already available for the Xbox One, so the actual announcement here is that various older titles will be coming along soon as well. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will make their way to Xbox One sometime in 2020.

Finally, Square Enix also announced a new demo for Kingdom Hearts III is available for download. Go check it out if you’re curious about continuing the adventures of Sora.

But Wait! Final Fantasy Too!

But fans of one JRPG franchise are not the only ones getting love today. Microsoft and Square Enix have also said that there are plans to bring various Final Fantasy titles to the Xbox One through Xbox Game Pass. And with the upcoming launch of the Final Fantasy 7 remaster on PS4, now is the perfect time for Square to try and capture a new audience with some gaming classics.

No release dates yet, but we will let you know when we hear about them.

This just one of several announcements from X019 that have gamers who aren’t used to seeing franchises on Xbox making a jump for joy. With the announcement of a partnership with Sega, Microsoft is bringing Yakuza games to Xbox One too.
