Spyro Reignited Trilogy shows off Frozen Altars zone
Spyro Reignited Trilogy developer Toys has released another snippet of gameplay footage for their upcoming platformer.
This gameplay clip for Frozen Altars shows off a section near the very beginning of the level, and showcases Spyro getting completely wrecked, before coming back for some ice cold revenge. We get to take a look at various enemies like woolly mammoths, and the Colossus Yeti
In this case, we see more of the Frozen Altars zone as it’s been recreated in this remaster. For the unaware, Frozen Altars is an icy zone from the third installment of the Spyro franchise. Since Year of the Dragon was released in 2000, the franchise has changed a fair bit, but the remaster looks to have nailed the feeling and style from the original version. The game was the last Spyro game Insomniac developed, so fans may feel a bit of sorrowful nostalgia playing this game in particular.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy was supposed to come out on September 21, 2018 but was delayed to November 13, 2018. So hopefully, fans won’t be disappointed when this iconic collection finally comes out later this month.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 13, 2018. If you want, you can check out the gameplay footage of the Frozen Altars area down below.
