The excellent Spyro trilogy is getting a remaster on PS4 and Xbox One. Fans of the platformer franchise can expect the titles to drop on September 21st for $39.99 USD.
The Spyro series are platform video games which primarily features the protagonist Spyro the Dragon. Since the series’ introduction in 1998, there has been a reboot to the series called The Legend of Spyro trilogy, making it a total of ten Spyro games and three Legend of Spyro games.
The release was confirmed on the official PlayStation blog where developer Toys for Bob has promised “a deep respect for all the decisions that went into making the original games” and a close match to Spyro’s original movement metrics. Publisher Activision has also confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox One on the same day.
