It’s a new week, and Bandai Namco has unleashed another new trailer for SoulCalibur VI.
Just like the first video in the Swords and Souls series, which focused on the origin of the franchise, this second entry takes a look at a core aspect of this particular fighting game franchise. This video focuses on the evolution of the franchise since the original Soul Blade game. We hear multiple icons of the fighting game community elucidate on their experiences with the series over the years.
Maximilian Dood, Kayane, LinkRKC, Aris, Bibulus, and MarkMan jump into the ring to let us know more about the franchise and it’s humble roots.
In other SoulCalibur VI news, Bandai Namco just released a trailer for the strange new community-created character to join the roster, Wizard Lizard. If you’re brand new to the series, you might want to look into the combat tutorial Bandai Namco just released.
Of course this new addition makes up the latest of a significant number of new and returning characters for SoulCalibur VI. Characters like Cervantes, Raphael and Tira have already been announced. Azwel, the magic-fueled lunatic is joining in on the fun as well. Older characters like Astaroth are getting back in on the action as well. Ivy and Zasalamel are joining the fray as well, because everyone is just coming out of the woodwork on this one. You can check out more of the roster over here.
