Bandai Namco has announced the next major addition to the roster of fighters in their newly-released fighting game, SoulCalibur VI.
Via a new trailer, we get to say hello to the newest addition to the roster, NieR: Automata‘s main heroine, 2B as she joins the eternal tale of souls and swords.
In the reveal trailer, we see 2B wielding two weapons pulled straight from the game. a NieR: Automata stage is also being included in the DLC that draws a lot of inspiration from 11945 Earth in the source material. Fans will even get an alternate costume for the character as part of the DLC pack.
Her in-ring abilities will be defined by her character from NieR: Automata, where fighters will have a choice between combat styles with several dual-blade variants. 2B can wield either Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty, or the Type-40 blade set. Even her movesets are inspired by the game. Her Reversal Edge movements, combo finishers and her unique dash and dodge animations all pull from the game in which she plays a badass cyborg.
here hasn’t been a confirmed release date, but it’s coming soon. And yes, the Season Pass will apparently grant you access to the 2B pack as well. Until then, check out the trailer teasing the new character down below.
