Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s First DLC “The Forge” Announced

Shadow of the Tombe Raider The Forge DLC

Square Enix has revealed the first major DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

The Forge is what this new content is titled, and it brings a ton of new challenges to the puzzle-solving and tomb-raiding adventure game.

The DLC brings Lara to a new set of ancient ruins in search of rare and powerful artifacts. The dungeon that is the primary focus will contain a slew of fire-based puzzles ready to roast the unsuspecting adventure to charcoal. The story is also getting some new bits thrown in with this release. IF you manage to complete this new challenge dungeon, you’ll unlock a variety of new powerful items for use in the main game. Completing these challenges unlocks the Grenadier skill, Brocken outfit, and Umbrage 3-80 weapon.

The Forge will be available as a standalone purchase for $4.99. The DLC will also be part of the $29.99 Season Pass on all platforms. The DLC will land on November 13th. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And while the publisher didn’t have more to share in terms of other DLC plans, more is on the way after this. Gamers can expect more challenge tombs, co-op content, new game modes and additional narrative side missions as future content.
