The Forge, the latest DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, has a shiny new trailer showcasing some of the new content and gameplay elements coming in the update.
The Forge adds two new puzzle-based gameplay modes to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, each one having it’s own unique challenges meant to test the limits of Tomb Raider fans.
The first of these new game modes is Score Attack, which has players running through the map to get flaming orbs. The map itself contains lots of dangerous traps and jumping and platforming puzzles which the player has to navigate quickly to earn a high score. The extension of this mode, Time Attack, forces players to complete the tomb in a targeted time frame, racing through the perilous area in order to earn special rewards.
In terms of other content, the DLC introduces a new skill based around grenades that allows Lara to blast the scenery apart. There’s also a couple of vicious new items like a new Brocken Outfit and Umbrage 3-80 Weapon.
The DLC will drop for Shadow of the Tomb Raider Season Pass holders on November 13. Everyone who hasn’t paid that extra bit of cash for a Season Pass will get it on the same day, but they’ll have to pay the sticker price of $4.99. Check out the latest trailer for the DLC down below.
