Xbox Game Pass is bringing another load of new games to the paid service in February 2019, and there’s some great ones in there.
For those not familiar with Xbox Game Pass, it’s a paid subscription service for gamers to pay one low monthly fee, in this case $9.99, and get access to more than 100 games which they can download at their leisure to play on Xbox One and even Windows 10. It’s a great deal for the budget conscious gamer since the game library is constantly updated with new titles each month.
And as you can guess from the title, February 2019 is no different.
There’s a really great list of games this month which encompasses a fair variety of genres and fun gameplay. The big news however is something fans of a particular franchise have been waiting on for years. Crackdown 3 is coming to Xbox One (and Windows PC) on Feb. 15, and Game Pass members will get it day and date with the full retail release. So if you fancy playing Crackdown 3, why not drop the same price you would on that game and grab six months of Xbox Game Pass? A 6 month sub is the same price as a single new game, so the trade off is well worth it to me.
Other games are of course included in the months drop as well. There’s the excellent and award-winning adventure game that is The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season. Pick up for a ride on the feels train with Lee and Clementine in this Telltale classic. A great collection of action titles drops with Batman: Return to Arkham, which is the remastered Xbox One versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
There’s even a few more obscure entries, like de Blob, the paint-based title from the Wii.
You can see the full list below, as well as their dates for inclusion on the service:
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider (February 7)
- The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season (February 7)
- Pumped BMX Pro (February 7)
- De Blob (February 14)
- Crackdown 3 (February 15)
- Batman: Return to Arkham (February 21)
