Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice teases Chained Ogre boss

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Chained Ogre Boss

FromSoftware just released another boss teaser for their upcoming game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. We get our first glimpse of the lumbering and scarily powerful Chained Ogre. This towering monstrosity will crush you in an instant with it’s surprising speed, so be careful.

Director Hidetaka Miyazaki and the rest of the team have been really careful to keep this game and the bosses within under a tight lid. And with less than a month to go until launch, fans are clamoring for more. So if you’re interested in this devilish new title, check out the latest teaser for it down below.

This is far from the first boss that FromSoftware has teased for their new game, and it probably won’t be the last. The company has previously revealed the boss known only as Lady Butterfly, a deceptively deadly foe. What connection she and the other bosses have to the story is unknown, but it will all become clear when the game comes out next month.

Speaking of story, the developers also released a new story teaser for the game today as well. So go take a look at that if you want a glimpse of the world this weird game takes place in. We do know a bit more about the gameplay though. This will be much more challenging than previous FromSoftware titles. The strange and undisclosed Kaisei system will make sure of that. It’s some kind of limited respawn mechanic that emphasizes combat skill over “zerging” bosses repeatedly.

The game will also feature a non-traditional design in other areas as well. There’s no online PvP for example. The player also won’t be grinding out Souls or Blood for levels like in other games from this developer.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be launching on March 22for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And if you want to grab this new game on that platform, why not take the time to ensure your system is up to snuff with the system requirements for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
