Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice showcases new Lady Butterfly boss

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice showcases new Lady Butterfly boss

Sony and FromSoftware just unleashed another new trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, this time it’s much more beautiful and dangerous than anyone could have ever imagined. This new trailer showcases one of the deadly bosses that inhabit the world of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and she’s quite the terror to behold. Say hello to Lady Butterfly.

We can judge a little bit about her and her past based on this short teaser. She’s incredibly agile, and presumably equally deadly. She also apparently knows the protagonist, referring to him as Son of Owl. It’s a pretty short teaser, but we can infer that this particular boss fight, as well as the rest of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, will be quick and deadly. We don’t see her use any in-game abilities, so her actual fighting style, and the gimmick to beating her, remain shrouded in mystery.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a much more unique game compared to previous FromSoftware titles. Sekiro will use a grappling hook and stealth mechanics to defeat many foes. The combat is just as fast and furious as SoulsBorne fans will remember, and the gameplay is much more unforgiving this time around. However, Sekiro is not an RPG. There are no stats to level up and no armor or weapons to collect and equip. There are no classes to choose from.

IGN recently got hold of a story trailer for the game which teases a little bit about the mysterious story. FromSoft also recently revealed the system requirements for the game, go check those out if you plan on grabbing this for PC.
