Rise of the Phoenix DLC drops for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Rise of the Phoenix DLC

As previously detailed, the new batch of DLC is coming to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. The Black Order already has a ton of  characters from within the Marvel fandom, and there’s some pretty special and powerful heroes and villains in the canon. One of the most dangerous and powerful additions to the Marvel universe was none other than The Phoenix. This corruption of a powerful psychic is arguably one of the most powerful threats in the X-Men, with a huge amount of insane destructive power at her hands.

The new DLC will introduce  four new X-Men characters into the game, with some of the most recognizable heroes joining in with the Phoenix. There’s the kinetic Gambit, the smooth and dangerous Ice Man and the gun-toting Cable. And of course, players will also get access to the Phoenix. Also in this batch of updates is a new game mode called Danger Room. It’s basically a Marvel variant of the HoloDeck. Players can take on increasingly powerful waves of enemies and bosses. Each of the bosses also throws additional mechanics and buffs into the mix, making for a better end-game challenge.

To get access to the new batch of heroes, you need to buy the Expansion Pass for $19.99 through the Nintendo eShop.

This update also gives you access to the previous Marvel Knights DLC pack, bringing Blade, The Punisher, Morbius and Moon Knight into the fray. The developer will also be releasing a Fantastic Four bundle, due sometime in 2020. So there’s still plenty of action to be had with new fighters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
