Rebel Galaxy Will Launch On Consoles Next Month

broadsides

Double Damage Games announced today that Rebel Galaxy will launch on PlayStation 4 in the US on January 5th, with the Xbox One version coming the week after, on January 13th. In Europe, the release window is January 12th-19th for both consoles. The announcement was made via the game’s Twitter account.

The game will cost $20 US on consoles, the same as the standard PC version. However, if you’d rather play it on PC, the game is discounted to $13.39 during the Steam Winter Sale, which runs until January 4th.

Details as far as resolution and frame rate aren’t locked down at this time. Double Damage did disclose that 1080p was the target for PS4 resolution, but no confirmation yet on Xbox One. Although the standard 900p resolution for that console is assumed given the industry reliance on such targets. Both versions will be locked to 30 FPS however; if you’re looking to play Rebel Galaxy in all it’s glory, you may want to consider the PC version if possible.
