PUBG update 1.0 finally lands on Xbox One

PUBG

Well that’s it, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is finally out fully on Xbox One. And it’s been a long time coming, as PUBG has been lingering in the Xbox Game Preview Program for more than a year.

The biggest new additions are of course the close-quarters map Sanhok, as well as a small trove of new weapons and vehicles. The QBZ assault rifle, and the Sanhok-exclusive QBU DMR lead the charge on the new weapons front, with a new four-person pickup truck headign into battle on the vehicles side.

The full patch notes can be found here, and as one would expect, there’s also the usual cache of bug fixes, tweaks and performance improvements buried under the new content.

And for those wondering, War Mode and Custom Match have been delayed for a short time, and will be released in a later update. According to the devs this is being done to “let each contents have enough attention from our players, so players won’t be divided having long matchmaking time for each content”. The Battle Royale and Mini Royale playlists are in already though, so you can enjoy those now on Xbox One.
