PUBG finally confirms a PS4 version

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the exceedingly popular Battle Royale shooter that sparked the furious craze, is finally getting a PS4 release. developer PUBG Corp. has announced the impending launch on the PlayStation Blog.

And not content with just offering the game on a new platform, PUBG Corp. is also offering multiple variants of the battle royale title on the PS4. There are two different versions of the game being offered as special deals, each with their own bonuses. The Survivor’s Digital Edition includes the game, Vikendi Event Pass, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, and 20,000 BP, while the Champion’s Digital Edition features the same as above but adds a 6,000 G-Coin Pack.

There’s even some pre-order bonuses for this version if that’s your thing, and they’re styled after some iconic Sony properties. If you fancy getting yourself some exclusive items like Nathan Drake’s outfit from the Uncharted series and Ellie’s backpack from The Last of Us, then this is your shot. That way you can zip around the PUBG maps and blast people in the face in style.

In terms of actual content and gameplay, there’s a surprising amount of depth to this PS4 port. The PUBG variant includes three maps, Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. With game modes and social features being included, there’s plenty to do within these locales. Players will be able to blast each other to pieces in ranked and custom matches on all maps. The game also has PS4 Trophies.
