PS4 system update 6.00 open for beta test signups

Sony is busy cranking away on the next iteration of software for the Playstation 4 console. As such, they’re looking for feedback from PS4 gamers on how the update is shaping up. Sony has announced that the 6.00 update will have a beta test soon.

PS4 players can sign up for the beta test for the console’s system software update 6.00 in Japan, Europe, and North America.

Players need to be 18 or over, and have an active PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now subscription. The PS4 system update 6.00 beta test sign-ups will be available until July 27, 2018.

The content of the software update hasn’t been revealed just yet, but gamers should expect more news soon on that front, given that the beta is likely to contain new features, or at least massively revised current ones, otherwise why have a beta.
