The launch trailer for Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! has a special treat for fans of the legendarily cheesy anime. One thing in particular fans will remember is the catchy theme song that brings out the nostalgia and childhood wonderment in all fans, new and old.
The trailer itself opens with a redone version of the iconic theme song, and as the drum roll opens the track, we see some really cool shots from the game. The trailer even mimics the opening of the anime by teasing images of various Legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo. From here the trailer plays out as an excellent homage to the animated show. Featuring new shots of each classic pokémon taken from within the game itself, the entire video coincides with the original intro video almost to a Tee.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! is a brand new title for the Nintendo Switch that takes players on a more casual experience through the original Generation 1 setting and roster. Players will head through a re-imagined Kanto region on a journey that uses the capture mechanics of popular mobile game Pokémon Go to create a touchstone with a new generation of fans.
