Pokémon Go’s annual Valentine’s Day event is happening this month, multiple in fact. Players get a bunch of rewards for playing the game during this time. Also, the in-game events hand out guaranteed encounters, free Candy and more to gorge on. And while it can help with boosting your Pokédex, it’s also an excuse to play with your friends and send them something nice. The centerpiece of the event is Flabébé. They spawn in many different colors, changing by region.
The colors are region-locked though, so that adds some difficulty. Flabébé retains their colors when they evolve as well, so you’re stuck with that regional color when you do that. The color mostly applies to the flowers, as they’re only a minor cosmetic difference between each variant. But some Trainers want to know how to get all of them. What colors of Flabébé are there?
There are a total of five colors that Flabébé in Pokémon Go can spawn as. Here’s the list:
- Yellow Flabebe: Only spawns in North and South America
- Red Flabebe: Only spawns in Africa, Europe, and Middle Eastern countries
- Blue Flabebe: Only spawns in countries located in the Asia-Pacific region
- White Flabebe: Can spawn anywhere in the world
- Orange Flabebe: Can spawn anywhere in the world
How to get each Flabébé in Pokémon Go
The only easy way to do this is to be a part of the game’s community. Hypothetically, if you live in North America, that means you can only catch Yellow, White, and Orange Flabébés in the wild. The excellent news is that you can absolutely trade regional exclusive Pokemon in Pokémon Go. The catch is, you have to be within a certain range of the Trainer that has what you want. The trade range distance has been increased to 12km, which means that you can trade with any of your Pokémon Go friends who are within a 12km of your location. This increased range was introduced on Thursday, 12th November.
This usually requires you to be a part of the local community in your areas, and then meet up with Trainers willing to trade region-locked mons. This takes a fair bit of work for event Pokémon like this. But if you have friends who travel, ask them to see if they can get the spawn for you. That’s probably the best way for most Trainers to get these region exclusives.
Along with all of this, there is a roster of boosted spawns and Raids you can jump into. The Pokémon Go Valentine’s Day Field Research Tasks tie into multiple other in-game rewards and events during this month of Feb, 2022.
