Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Schedule and Rewards

How to buy a Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticket

Pokémon Go Fest 2022 is back this year, coming in June. Niantic has announced a bunch of details about the event, and Trainers are excited. Like previous years, Pokémon Go Fest 2022 will be broken up into two days, and each hour on those days will have boosted spawns. That’s just the start, there’s so much more. You can buy a ticket and get access to a ton of stuff during Pokémon Go Fest 2022.

Trainers can get access to a bunch of tiered spawns, based on the Habitat system from previous years. Read more about that below. There’s much more to Go Fest 2022 though, including Gym Raids, Team Rocekt events, and more. If you want your chance to join Pokémon Go Fest 2022, you’ll need to make sure you purchase a ticket before the event. Now, on to what the actual event will include. The Habitat Hours are pretty cool. Let’s talk about that first.

Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Habitats Explained

Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticketholders will have the chance to capture Shaymin as part of the various events across two days. Niantic is also bringing back the Habitat system from previous years. The Pokémon Go Fest 2022 event will be happening on June 4 and 5. Players taking part will be able to see various Pokémon every hour. During that hour, the rotation will shift according to which habitat is active. Check below for the currently revealed roster for the habitat hours you get access to with a Pokémon Go Fest 2022 ticket:

  • City Habitat: Alolan Grimer, Baltoy, Bronzor, Golett, Gothita, Hitmonchan, Litten, Magnemite, Pidove, Trash Cloak Burmy, and Trubbish
  • Plains Habitat: Buizel, Drilbur, Dunsparce, Girafarig, Larvitar, Litleo, Numel, Patrat, Rufflet, Shelmet, and Trapinch
  • Rainforest Habitat: Binacle, Chimchar, Barrablast, Mudkip, Rowlet, Seedot, Shroomish, Skrelp, Slakoth, Turtwig, and Venipede
  • Tundra Habitat: Bermite, Cubchoo, Meditite, Omanyte, Piplup, Popplio, Spheal, Swinub, Vanillite, Wailmer, and Wingull

If you use incense during each hour, you’ll have the chance to catch other Pokémon within each habitat. This offers a great way to get some Unown variants you might be missing.

  • City: Galarian Weezing, Klink, Unown B, Unown G, Unown O, and Unown U
  • Plains: Axew, Torkoal, Unown B, Unown G, Unown O, and Unown U
  • Rainforest: Pancham, Tropius, Unown B, Unown G, Unown O, and Unown U
  • Tundra: Galarian Darumaka, Galarian Mr. Mime, Unown B, Unown G, Unown O, and Unown U

It’s worth noting that all of this is just the stuff mostly locked to day one. Being a two-day event, there’s more on the horizon.

Pokémon Go Fest 2022 Day Two

Pokémon Go Fest 2022 will have a second day with a mix of online and in-person events. You will see Team Go Rocket showing up on day two to cause chaos. This will trigger PVE battles that Trainers can earn unique Shadow variants from. And with all the other stuff going on, you better bring a lot of Pokéballs. There will be boosted spawns of course, and so much more.

The big ticket quest during the event is the chance at a legendary encounter. By completing the Special Research tasks across both days, you get a Shaymin encounter. Shaymin is exclusive to the event but you can get other things to do.

Gyms and Raids will be a huge part of the event. Trainers will get in-person raid passes for everything up to, and including, five-star Raids.
