Niantic loves is in-game events. Along with the new batch of Spotlight Hour events, there’s a lot of stuff going on in the month of October 2021. Every month, a new Pokémon gets spotlighted during a day event. The current event is due to begin on the 9th. It will run from 11am to 5pm local time on Oct. 9, 2021.
During the event, you will find new events and rewards being given out. Incense and Lure Modules will last three hours if used during the event, so get out and catch some stuff. There will also be some special quest-based rewards. Here are all of the rewards and bonuses you can get during Duskull Community Day:
- 3 x Catch Stardust
- 3-hour Lure & Incense
- Shadow Ball automatically applied to any Dusclops evolved into Dusknoir, or any Dusknoir caught.
- Duskull appears more often
- One time purchase Community Day Box (1280 PokéCoins) contains:
- 50 Ultra Balls
- 4 Incense
- 4 Star Pieces
- 1 Elite Charged TM
Along with the spawns and other stuff, a few other exclusive mods can be found for Duskull. First off, it’s a Pokemon that can get shiny spawns. Second, the exclusive move available to Dusknoir, Duskull’s final evolution, is Shadow Ball.
So far, a few different Timed Research Tasks have been revealed. Players can get various rewards for doing different things. If you capture a certain number of Duskull, you get some rewards. There may also be rewards for fighting battles or evolving with them as well. Here are the rewards we know about so far:

- 5 Great Balls
- 2 Ultra Balls
- 2 Pinap Berries
- 1 Golden Razz Berry
