Niantic loves taking these days to push out special events, that often feature a powerful monster that can offer great PvE and PvP power. The event often leads to players rushing out to catch the spotlight creature.

Here’s everything we know about Pokémon Go Community Day for March 2021. Once again, we’re looking a single-day with a six-hour event being the focus.

We don’t know what the actual monster will be spotlighted for this day. Niantic did push out a tease that the game will spotlight a Pokémon from the Kalos region. Fans are now busy speculating what to expect, but it’s hard to say with any accuracy that to plan for. Some outlets are expecting Fletching, the Fire and Flying-type Pokémon to jump in on the fun. This powerful option can evolve into Talonflame, offering a huge amount of Fire attacks and other powerful moves.

When is the Pokémon Go Community Day?

The Community Day will be happening from 11 AM to 5 PM in your local time zone on March 6. Keep checking in for the updates from the main Twitter account. During that time, players will find boosted spawn rates for the highlighted creature. There will also likely be some new special Research Tasks and other options to complete for new rewards. And as for spawns, there’s a strong chance to get a shiny during the window that the event is open.
