Earlier today Sony announced that they’re jumping aboard the mini retro console train with a miniature Playstation console.
The PlayStation Classic mini-console is roughly half the size of the original console, and will come with 20 included games as a set. For the entry price, you get the console itself, two recreation controllers, a USB cord, and an HDMI cable. No USB AC adapter apparently, so have one on hand to power the device.
Currently, we only know of five games of the twenty that will come on the console — Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms.
The PlayStation Classic Console will launch on December 3, 2018, and will cost $99.99. You can pre-order the console now via Amazon. That release date is the same as the launch day for the original console, nice little bit of trivia there for fans.

Let’s just hope that Sony doesn’t make the same decision that Nintendo does with its highly-desired gaming hardware and artificially inflates demand by lowering supply. I really hate when that happens, please don’t do that Sony.
