Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire Getting a Physical Release

THQ Nordic, developer Obsidian Entertainment, and independent publisher Versus Evil have struck a deal whereby THQ Nordic will put out a physical edition of the upcoming RPG Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.

The game is coming to PC, Mac, and Linux. The game entered a closed beta back in November 2017. The beta included a number of features that will appear in the final release, though, such as its character creation suite, multiclassing and the game’s overhauled combat system. You can check out some early gameplay from that, as well as the campaign launch trailer, below.

THQ Nordic says that it will share a specific release date, price, and other release info about the game soon. Although we know Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is due at some stage in 2018.
