Last year peripheral maker Mad Catz closed its doors but after a short break in business, the company is back. This time the company is under new management and working with a whole new lineup of products. Mad Catz even put out a cheeky little promo trailer to announce their return to the market.
CES is their focus and they will be showing off a new products including new R.A.T. mice, S.T.R.I.K.E. keyboards, F.R.E.Q. gaming headsets and G.L.I.D.E. gaming surface.
There’s a new R.A.T. AIR mouse which will come with a “stare of the art” wireless power setup to eliminate the need for battery packs. This new system relies on a specialized surface that transfers power to the unit itself. A USB cable is included for those wanting to use their own surface. The S.T.R.I.K.E.4 is their new mechanical keyboard, and the F.R.E.Q4 is the new gaming headset.
