PC system requirements announced for CODE VEIN

Code Vein

Code Vein has some news today, and since it’s so close to release, fans of the idea of a Dark Souls-esque vampire game  are pretty hyped. For one thing, we now know the PC requirements of the new video game. For example, we know that Code Vein will include support for both DirectX 11 and 12 APIs.

There is some bad news though, and it concerns the DRM the JRPG will make use of. It has now been confirmed that Code Vein will use the controversial Denuvo DRM when it launches. Gamers are concerned that the infamous performance bottlenecks may return for this game, like they did when Tekken 7 was plagued by problems with Denuvo, , and while the Steam page does not directly list it, the game’s EULA confirms the inclusion.

Check out the full system requirements for the new Bandai Namco title down below.

And if you want to see more of the game, Bandai Namco has plenty of cool stuff to show off. Code Vein released a bunch of trailers showing off the bloody action. Here’s one, and here’s another. And if you want to take a deeper dive, take a look at this behind-the-scenes trailer.

There’s also some trailers also showing Revenants like IoLouisYakumo and so many more. Each character has their own story and motivations, and unlocking their past may well be part of the game experience here, we’ll have to wait for release to find out.

Bandai Namco announced that Code Vein will be debuting on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 27, 2019.
