Path of Exile 3.9 MetaMorph League Challenge Rewards

Path of Exile: Metamorph
Check out our guide on MetaMorph League!

Grinding Gear Games has just announced a new trailer, showing off a special reward for completing Challenges, three of them in fact. There are rewards for completing 12, 24 and 36 Challenges, with each being themed after Path of Exile MetaMorph and its sickly green hue.

This is something that GGG does in every expansion. The Challenge Leagues of each expansion derive their moniker from the 40 challenges players are tasked with competing each League. Each Challenge offers a differing degree of difficulty, with the most difficult end-game grinds involving defeating the toughest bosses dozens of times. These goals are milestones that separate the good from the bad when it comes to POE, and GGG rewards that competence.

For rewards this time, players can expect some ghoulish footprints, a nightmarishly dark weapon effect, and a very mad scientist portal for completing each block of Challenges. Rewards are credited to POE accounts at the end of the League.

Check out the three new MTX rewards in the trailer below.

Path of Exile MetaMorph will include multiple new systems and components, with the most important of which being the new Catalysts and Samples that players can use to craft the boss of their nightmares. Defeating this powerful foe though, has some pretty insane rewards. And with the new mapping system, we’re also likely to see the aforementioned Challenge Rewards change too.

Path of Exile 3.9 MetaMorph League, along with the Conquerors of the Atlas Mapping system, is due to launch on December 13th.
