Path of Exile 3.10 and Delirium League Starter Builds

Path of Exile 3.10, Delirium League

Path of Exile 3.10 and Delirium League is almost here. With all the new Notables and Passive Tree changes, there’s a ton of new stuff to deal with. POE 3.10 will completely alter the meta-game and the Path of Exile 3.10 league starter builds selected for this league are going to be wild. With the number of lighting skills and changes alone, I expect a fair few players to opt for Miners of some sort, say a Lightning Spire Mines of some kind. Spellcaster archetypes will also be very prevalent with the Wands changes. Summoner got nerfed into the floor this league with hits to Zombies, Skeletons and Spectres. Path of Exile 3.10 league starter builds will definitely trend towards trying out the new skills this league.

It feels like GGG also wanted the build variety to increase this time around, as the new Cluster Jewels and Notable Passives offer something for pretty much every archetype that will be used in a Path of Exile 3.10 league starter build. Take a look below at the various Path of Exile 3.10 league starter builds that we feel are some of the best options, aiming for a class archetype that works for you.

It might be helpful to run through the list of nerfs and buffs that were handed out in the POE 3.10 patch before selecting a build Also, if you are a new player, check out some of our other POE 3.10 guides below.

Here are our other Path of Exile 3.10 Guides:

Witch

[3.10] Bamper1’s Stone Golem Golemancer – While it’s hard to min-max this particular build, if you really like Summoner archetypes in POE, this is the goto build for you that wasn’t nailed by the other Summoner nerfs.

[3.10] Enki’s Arc Witch – No direct nerfs to Ascendancy or arc in POE 3.10 make this common league starter build even more appealing. The new Passive Tree changes could even help this build out a fair bit in endgame.

[3.10] TorsteinTheFallen’s Dragon’s Breath Elementalist – Another interesting build that came out of a previous league looking strong, and looks to be coming into its own in Delirium League. It has been very rough for Elementalist Ascendancy builds these last few patches, with high life sustain and no direct nerfs this patch, it could be a power player.

POE Build’s Storm Brand Build – Elementalist Witch – This spellcaster variant offers a speedy and efficient playstyle that’s great for newer players. There isn’t a ton of juggling of flasks or mechanics and it wields plenty of DPS for its class. The Storm Brand skill also made it through the 3.10 patch without blows from the nerf hammer, so a great choice here.

[3.10] Aziire’s Kinetic Bolt Elementalist – A powerful twist on the spellcaster and summoner archetypes that offers a fair amount of defensive and offensive flexibility. Combining the changes to Wand-based skills and Minions in 3.10 to a stellar base, this build guide sets a high mark for builds based and brand new skills in POE.

[3.10] MoLoK13’s Ele ANIMATE WEAPON Summoner – The complete rework of Animate Weapon may have reduced the number of minions, but the damage changes made it an insane choice. It could be a new on-meta choice thanks to these changes. This build is a pretty good example of how to do a basic build with this skill.

Shadow

[3.10] Nathan’s ED Trickster – A rather strong build that offers both flexibility for casual players, but plenty of DPS for more aggressive players looking to maximize the potential of the archetype. It can easily run Red maps with slightly better gear than the starter variant.

[3.10] ArtCrusade’s Essence Drain: BEASTMODE – Another ED variant, this time tuned for SSF players. Trickster and Essence Drain seemingly came out of the 3.10 patch notes mostly unscathed, so they’re a solid off-meta combo for those looking for a solid and basic build to gear and play.

[3.10] roguemjb’s Double Strike / Flicker Assassin  – Assassin got a pretty nice buff in POE 3.10, and when combined with new Notables on thee Passive Tree, looks very strong going into Delirium. The melee focus on Double and Flicker Strikes is a pretty unique way to play as well. If you’re a melee fan in POE and looking for something a bit different, here you go.

[3.10] Durimon’s Ball Lightning Miner With the buffs to Increased Fire, Cold and Lightning Damage modifiers may make this build a bit more viable in 3.10. No serious buffs though.

[3.10] K0FT3’s Toxic Rain Miner – DoT style of play might feel wonky for some, but it’s very fun when you’re blitzing maps at the speed of light, and this is the league starter build to do just that with strong defenses to boot.

[3.10] Beginner Friendly Arc/Ice Spear Mines – Got a big buff in 3.9. Arc and Mine-based gameplay didn’t get nerfed in 3.10, still a strong choice.

[3.10] typicaldemon’s Toxic Rain Shadow  – Gearing this is a bit harder in 3.10 thanks to the nerfs to fossil crafting, but still a solid league starter that’s in a similar DPS place compared to 3.9.

[3.10] Remi’s Icicle Miner – Did get a bit nerfed in 3.9. Although even considering that Icicle Mine is still fun to play. Wouldn’t take this too far into endgame. Truest league starter it’s easy to gear before you move on to a better build.

Marauder

[3.10] The Warbringer Ground Slam Serker – Still cheap to gear in POE 3.10, this Delirium build also made it out of the 3.10 patch with no notable nerfs.

[3.10] TorsteinTheFallen’s Dragon Breath Chieftain Incinerate – The build that has surprisingly high Life and other defenses, but also solid DPS, is a great league starter in this generation of POE. The 3.9 crafting reworks made gearing this a bit harder to scale though. The fossils nerf could affect item prices though, be aware of that.

[3.10] bashtart’s Ice CRASH IT ALL Juggernaut / Berserker – This build has been around for a while, and has consistently dealt solid DPS. The gearing process is a bit awkward to scale into end-game, although it’s very easy to get through leveling with this build.

[3.10] SaintCabal’s Fists of Fire Cyclone – Coming out in POE 3.10 with a solid base. Can likely handle the vast majority of beginner content with ease.

[3.10] guggelhupf’s Facebreaker Ancestral Warchief – If you enjoy playing with Totems you’re in luck because Ancestral Warchief builds are a very popular choice for new players.  This POE build is fairly simple to gear too.

Templar

[3.10] thi3n’s Storm Brand Inquisitor – An ultra-powerful build with relatively affordable gear. Much more expensive than some builds, but scales incredibly well into end-game. No buffs or nerfs to skill directly in POE 3.10.

[3.10] VisorX’s Freezing Pulse Totem Hierophant –  A very focused and powerful build in its own right. The general buff to Totem life in Path of Exile 3.10 made this even more of a viable build as a league starter.

[3.10] Havock5700’s Arc Totems – With great mapping speed and plenty of defenses, this particular Hierophant build is a wonderful choice in Blight. While it does require a few different Unique items. Aimed at beginners, and easy to gear

Duelist

[3.10] CaptainWARLORD’s Cleave Champion – With a reworked focus on defensive mechanics, this build is still surprisingly strong in Blight. And with such a pure and focused build, even the newest POE player can comfortably play this build through to endgame. The guide author even put out a great video guide.

[3.10] Aias_o_Telamonios’ Physical ST Slayer – Still in the same place it was during POE 3.9, not a monstrously strong build, but good enough for a true starter to carry into Yellow Maps in this patch.

[3.10] LiftingNerdBro’s Uber Lab Warchief Totem Champion – A perennial standard of league starter builds. With the changes to melee this league, it will be very off-meta, thus cheaper to gear, in theory. If you want an early start on end-game farming for Lab enchants, here you go.

[3.10] Maddington’s STATIC STRIKE Gladiator -A very stable off-meta build able to handle most content in the game with minimal gear investment. The fact that Delirium saw relatively few direct nerfs to melee-based builds may help this build shine even brighter.

Ranger

[3.10]g00fy_goober’s Ultimate EleBuzzsaw Raider – This one has gone a bit off-meta this league, which actually helps it make the cut this time around. It’s a fast build that easy enough to gear for somewhat experienced players who know what to look for. Scaling this to endgame gear will be a bit tricky though.

[3.10] thedeathbeam’s Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder – Bow-based builds took a hit in POE 3.10 with the major nerf to Fossils. Now, any serious bow build needs a strong Elder base to get the best mods. Thanks to the fact that this skill didn’t get nerfed directly though, it’s still an option.

[3.10] Angry_Roleplayer’s Lightning Arrow/Barrage Deadeye – Path of Exile 3.10 didn’t hand any major nerfs to this bow-based starter build. It’s an option thanks to its defensive versatility, but the nerfs to Fossils and attack avoidance chance do make this weaker overall.
