The Panzer Dragoon: Remake debuted on Nintendo Switch some time ago, and there has been a vocal fanbase waiting for it to come to other consoles and PC. Now that time has come. The reveal came via Twitter, you can find the relevant tweet below. No specific date was given for the port, so it’s pretty vague right now when we will actually get it to play.
So while we wait, just enjoy the original Switch version if you can, it’s pretty good. For a portable experience of the classic Sega franchise, it really can’t be beat.
The last time we head of this iconic franchise was a while ago. At one point there was a VR game was coming from development studio Wildman. That has still been pretty quiet though, at least the PS4 and PC port of the remaster has something to offer hardcore fans. But the reason that has taken so long is that it’s actually three different games overhauled for VR. The bundle, called Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record, will contain three episodes, each being a port of the original three games in full VR. That means that there will be VR versions of Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, and Panzer Dragoon Saga. it’s just been a while because the studio has spent extra time making sure the game was delivering the desired experience in VR.
