Overkill is still working on their four player co-op version of The Walking Dead. The game has been stuck in development limbo for years since it missed it’s release windows for various reasons for the last two years.
announced The Walking Dead back in 2014, with an original plan to release it in 2016, which was then pushed to 2017. It’s now due out in fall of this year. You can learn more at the official site. You can also check out some of our previous coverage too.
This new behind-the-scenes video makes good on Overkill’s promise to deliver more news on The Walking Dead title. Mostly the focus is on design and artistic style of the post-apocalyptic environs of Georgetown in Washington D.C.. The four player co-op FPS is an interesting mix of Payday 2 and Left 4 Dead judging from what we’ve seen, it will be great to see what the future holds for the title. Check out the video below.
