Outriders system requirements revealed

Outriders system requirements revealed

People Can Fly’s Outriders will be out in April. And now, things are getting pretty close to launch. We PC gamers now know what to expect from the game in terms of performance, as well as system requirements. Here’s the details we have so far about Outriders system requirements. Use these to guide your builds and whether you need an upgrade.

The game is about 70 GB in size, so clear some room on that SSD if you need to. It’s a game made for Windows 10, so older machines will have issues getting it to run. There will be plenty of room to run it on older hardware though not too old. The low-end settings are possible on the best FX-era AMD CPUs, and the i5-3470 Ivy Bridge CPU on Intel’s side of things is the bare minimum.

Ultra-Wide Screen support and DLSS will be possible on higher-end machines. Anything capable of running that setup should have no problem really cranking up the details. That means you won’t have to worry about getting past the Outriders system requirements. For everyone else, let’s dig into the details.

Minimum (720p, 60 FPS)

Minimum (1080p, 60 FPS)

Ultra (2160p, 60 FPS)

One weird thing to note is that since we’re so far out from launch, the game still doesn’t have requirements for its top-end specs. The developers are targeting a 2160p 60 FPS game with Ultra graphics, but haven’t revealed requirements for that yet.

If you want to see more of what to expect, check out this preview trailer showing off the PC version below. There are two trailers to get into, with a mainline spotlight that shows off the basics. Then there’s a nice showcase of how the game will look in Ultrawide mode on compatible displays. Check out both these below.
