Onimusha Warlords HD Remaster heaps on combat in new trailer
Capcom has just pushed out a new trailer for the Onimusha Warlords HD Remaster. The remade 2001 classic brings improved controls and a new coat of paint to the table, along with a boatload of weapons, as any fan would expect.
Fans will once again follow samurai Samanosuke as he battles his way through legions of demons. He’s backed up by kunoichi Kaede as they team up throughout the story to take down even more denizens of the underworld. Samanosuke is a ferocious fighter with a fierce command of the elements. His three weapons are each imbued with the power of Mother Nature in the form of fire, lightning and wind. Each of these powers can be chained together into some very impressive combos during combat.
The game also features an upgrade system that helps the player keep pace with the increasingly tough enemies in your path. Each of the three weapons can be upgraded to level three by absorbing orbs that drop from dead enemies, and the weapons change physically and grow in power as they evolve.
International gamers will get the remaster on January 15th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Fans and gamers in Japan will get it a bit ahead of everyone else on December 20th, but only for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer for the game down below.
