Xbox Live Games With Gold is back again this month in October 2020 with another handful of free games for paid subscribers to the online service. And yes, if you’re a member of Game Pass Ultimate, you can also get access to these free games. For either service, all you need to do is maintain your paid subscription to retain access to the games. Once you claim them, they will be always linked to your account. So even after this month, as long as you have an active sub, you can continue to play these games.
Just like previous runs, the games are rolled out for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Those who own the Xbox One can play both batches of games though, as they’re backward compatible.
And being that we’re heading into Halloween season, it’s a big bag of spooky games on the docket this month. No big AAA addons this month. it’s purely indie charm this time around.
